Associate Software Engineer - Delivery & Returns Platform

Associate Software Engineer - Delivery & Returns Platform

In our platform we pride ourselves on creating innovative and friction-free tech solutions, that enable ASOS to provide first-class delivery and returns propositions to our global customer base.  Last year we shipped 73m orders to our 20 million (and growing) active customers and processed 80m units of returned stock, using our tech services and those of our strategic partners.

Going into 2020 the Delivery & Returns platform will be leading on a number of tech projects, which are aimed at reducing the number of returns for ASOS – a huge opportunity for controlling this significant cost to the business (and the planet!); and further developing a new delivery system we have to drive efficiency and enhance customer propositions, taking into consideration resilience and eco-friendly delivery options, which will become increasingly important to our customers.

We use tech like .NET Framework and .NET Core, Azure, CI/CD automation, TeamCity / Octopus, SQL and noSQL databases and use best practices like ATDD, TDD and BDD.  We are looking to migrate to Kubernetes and Docker for new services.  If you have the technical skills we’re looking for and a passion for Agile delivery and fast paced environments, like Supply Chain Tech, come join us!
