Across the globe, government bodies exist to ensure that Medical Devices deployed in their territories are safe and effective. Babylon work at the cutting-edge intersection of traditional healthcare, virtual services and artificial intelligence and it's crucial that we are able to effectively navigate the Regulatory challenges we will face as we deliver more services to more people in more countries.
Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the Design Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that everything Babylon delivers meets or exceeds our obligations around quality and safety. This will be done by engaging with stakeholders across the business but particularly in our Engineering division and building a culture of quality, safety and innovation without compromising our ability to deliver our technology globally.
They will have experience of supporting the development of Standalone Software or Mobile Applications in the healthcare space and will have expert knowledge of implementing design controls in an Agile environment. They will demonstrate an understanding of relevant Regulatory standards and frameworks and will be able to show how they supported development of software to these standards.
