Purpose of the Role
Be a generalist able to connect dots and to translate product & data science ideas into the engineering system, with an emphasis on Machine Learning techniques, including Probabilistic Graphical Modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
·Own end-to-end a product improvement idea from inception & initial modelling to implementation, testing & monitoring in the live system
·Implement new product user experiences on top of the engineering system using available infrastructure & abstractions;
·Collaborate with “specialists” ie data scientists and researchers to come up with new ideas

Key Skills required:
·Code proficiency: being able to navigate complex codebases and leverage existing abstractions
·Knowledge of software engineering best practises: testing, CI, logging, monitoring, …
·Knowledge of ML techniques & theory, ideally with a specialisation in a particular domain/field (PGM, NLP, Information retrieval, …)

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
·Msc in computer science or other quantitative field
·Exposure to writing and maintaining production code
·Mastery of a programming language
