Import Preview
When you click 'Preview' we'll show you a preview of what your posts will look like in Able. You can uncheck posts to exclude them from the import.
Data processing
We don't store the .zip file that you upload, we only extract data out of .md files and store this data in a temporary text format before importing.
When importing, we fetch images from URLs in your posts and migrate them to our own storage. This is to avoid hotlinking and potential broken images from link decay. Currently we do not migrate images that are locally referenced in your .zip folder.
Front matter
Currently we only support parsing the following frontmatter format and fields:

The title and date values do not need to be enclosed in apostrophes. If there are other fields you'd like to be supported please create an issue in our suggestion box.
Exporting your data
You can export all of your posts from Able in JSON format, with accompanying images. For details, see our page on downloading your data.
Deleting your data
Deleting your Able account will delete all of your account data, including images uploaded to your account. For details, see our page on deleting your account.
Disclaimer
We try our best to parse your posts accurately but there may be some specific markup that may not be converted correctly. Please let us know about any issues so that we can improve our import service over time. It's always a good idea to check that your post is correctly formatted before publishing.
