Key Resource are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join an exciting project for a Government Organisation is Central London.
As Software Architect, you will be working as part of the Organisation's Technical Design Authority, supporting major transformation initiatives as Architect Owner. You will also be Proving technical leadership for the ongoing improvement of the Organisation's software engineering capability. You will be responsible for owning improvements to the Environment Build Support Administration (EBSA) platform, as well as collaborating with Digital Data and Technology on the delivery of the enterprise strategy. You will also be responsible for championing best practices and assuring alignment with these across the digital portfolio.
You must be able to go through SC Security Clearance process.
Solid development experience (5+ years)
Microservice architecting experience
Experience designing HA mission critical digital service in large scale, complex organisation
Strong understanding and experience of applying Security by Design
Open Source & Automation Experience
Experience solution designer for Microservices, Container (inc K8) and Serverless (Lambda) based architectures
Node.js or Java Development skills
Experience of designing solutions for large scale, complex, multi-supplier organisations
The contract is expected to last for 2 years, with an initial 6 months followed by up to 18 months depending on needs and performance. The role is based in Central London and is offering a competitive rate.
