Keytree is currently recruiting a Service Transition Manager into its Managed Services support team. This role is part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivery to a fast-growing number of services to teams and clients.
The overall purpose of the role is to ensure successful transition and acceptance of services from either an internally delivered project or from a third party.

The Transition Manager role is a professional technical services project manager for managing the transition of service into Keytree managed services and will have and can demonstrate both project management disciplines with services or BAU acceptance experience.

You will be key to the establishment of frontline Support Services, collaborating with other team members and Delivery Managers to ensure resources, processes and tools are available to support client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining and leading a best practice transition approach, adherence to governance and provision of a seamless service transition to BAU.
  • Develop and confirm Transition scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders 
  • Develop a detailed project plan for tracking, governance and communication
  • Maintain the financial plan and deliver within target. 
  • Carry out/co-ordinate due diligence with customer/current provider to ensure Keytree managed Services has a clear understanding of the requirements of the service to be delivered, that the requirements are covered commercially and that the plan and solution covers those requirements.
  • Ensure technical feasibility of the solution 
  • Setup and manage the Transition RAID log, identify any gaps, implement and manage mitigations
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure resource availability is secured in a timely manner with the appropriate management, technical and functional skills, across the contracted support hours.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the seamless execution of on-boarding projects into Keytree Managed services; within time, scope and budget parameters.
  • Use the change process to manage changes in the transition scope, schedule and cost.
  • Measure transition project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using the JIRA toolset.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties, managing the client relationship through into Service Delivery.
  • Manage acceptance into service and into service management
Skill requirements:
  • Proven experience within Transition Management and Service Introduction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills 
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Proven project management disciplines including planning tracking, communication, adherence to governance, RAID and Change Management
  • Proven in IT consultancy experience
  • Solid technical background with a good understanding or hands-on experience in professional or managed services organisation
  • Excellent client facing and internal communication skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and multitasking skills 
  • Dynamic and agile approach to tasks 
  • Ability to rise above immediate problem and see the bigger picture
