Your responsibilities:• Regular health check-up and maintenance of EMS application and its server.• EMS New Feature Implementation, System Software & Application Patch upgrades • 24/7 Level-2 Troubleshooting of issues observed/escalated.• MOP / SOP Creation.• Design the test cases for integration and upgrade process in collaboration with the customer, conduct the lab test on new versions prior to pushing to production and analyze the test data.• Perform systems testing and verification, and troubleshoot or resolve the issues related to the EMS/OSS.• Provide EMS/OSS support for trial/rollout projects plan, process, document, efficiency and quality• Take the OSS responsibilities to collaborate with other teams to meet the network acceptance criteria for the customer• Participate in regular project review meetings with customers• Individual contributions to the team are emphasized and requested• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and support the sales team in the pursuit of new business.Required qualification and competencies:• Bachelor Degree or higher education in Telecommunications / Computer Science / IT or equivalent.• Experience in Wireless Telecommunications Operations and Maintenance.• Knowledge of network management and OSS/BSS concepts and basic protocols.• Excellent troubleshooting skills, investigating/reproducing issues, raising tickets and driving issues to timely resolution in a scrum environment working with peer testers and developers in different sites.• Ability to produce comprehensive high-quality root cause analysis reports, and issue characterizations with accurately triaged and prioritized defect reports, with applied creativity and insight.• Experience in customer-facing roles; ability to work independently on issues directly with the customer.• Experience in LTE /5G RAN Network.• Knowledge of LTE Call Flows, LTE Signaling and Protocols.• In-depth knowledge of EMS/NMS Architecture, and its operation both at OS as well as application level.• Experience in supporting SW lifecycle (install, upgrades, patches, back-ups)• Complete understanding of the SNMP Traps and connectivity details of NBI interface.• Knowledge of OSS and Integration of Alarms, Performance and configuration.• Knowledge of Unix & Linux and Red Hat, Open stack, and/or CentOS• CCNA or CCNP Certified (Preferred)• Proactive, self-motivated and with good communication skills• Excellent team worker, particularly in cross-cultural teams• Stress resistance to manage in multi-cultural and geographically separated teams• Willingness to occasionally travel based on project needs• Proficient in English essential, French an asset.
