About the team
We are a highly collaborative team of 4 primarily fullstack engineers working on the unique and innovative leasing product. We create and manage the tools and products that harness the work of teams of lawyers to create fully customizable leases tailored to the specific laws and regulations applying to each landlords property. Keeping track of laws as they change across the country in a scalable way as well as guiding landlords through the sometimes exciting task of gathering the required data for their lease are our primary challenges. We work closely with product, legal, and design to find solutions that delight our customers as well as keep them legally compliant. About the role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Fullstack Engineer with a focus on the frontend to join the leasing team. We have the unique challenge of building highly componentized UI's that can be dynamically assembled into a cohesive lease building workflow for landlords on the Zillow platform. In addition to this, we design and implement the software that the internal legal team uses to input clause updates driven by changes to law. Your core strengths should be in the frontend however being able to contribute to and thoroughly understand the supporting backends is important as well. Being a quick learner and critical problem solver is a requirement as we work across a few technology stacks and within a highly sophisticated problem domain. You should be a great teammate who is able to collaborate on solutions both within the leases group as well as the many teams we collaborate with on a regular basis.

Who you are
- Have 6+ years professional experience with the front-end development
- Have strong hands-on experience writing enterprise-grade applications with React or similar web libraries and frameworks
- A specialist in designing and developing extensible, responsive web apps for desktop and mobile web
- You’ve experience in designing and integrating with web-service APIs
- Strong believer in best and efficient software development principles, continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Passionate about writing clean, performant and well-tested code
- Excellent debugging and profiling skills
- Self-starter and you love working in a dynamic team
- Love working creatively and solving challenging problems
