As a member of the Zillow Group Rentals Mobile team, you will take on a wide range of challenges in the rentals transaction space. You’ll develop new features that help renters and landlords with each step of the renting process. From submitting Applications, signing the Lease, and managing monthly rent Payments after move-in; you will work to make the process as smooth as possible! Additionally, you will be tasked with reviewing the code of your peers and advocating for standard mobile development methodologies.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+years of experience in iOS app development with clear understanding of common design patterns such as MVVM
Proficient knowledge of Objective-C and/or Swift
Published at least 1 app to Apple’s App Store
Experience building mobile frameworks / SDKs
The ability to solve sophisticated problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Passionate about writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code
You effectively communicate across teams and with other product stakeholders
You have the energy to keep pace with our daily deployments and constant code changes
Excited to guide and mentor junior developers on the team
